ヨハネの福音書（2）、詩篇（1）
2.執筆年代
極端な学者はこの福音書は2世紀の中頃に書かれたと言うが、ジョン・ライランズ・パピリという、この福音書の写本の断片が発見されてから、執筆年代はもっと早いと考えられるようになった。なぜなら、この写本が発見されたエジプトの内陸部まで写本が伝わるためには、少なくとも数十年はかかると考えられるからである。この福音書は共観福音書よりも後に書かれ、またヨハネの手紙やヨハネの黙示録よりも前に書かれたと考えられるので、85年から90年の間に書かれたと考えられよう。
