Jacob DeShazer testimony tract booklet. The dramatic story of two enemies who were freed from their hatred when both believed in Jesus Christ. "Jake" DeShazer was an American staff sergeant and bombardier with the Doolittle Raiders in WW2. He bombed Nagoya, was captured and imprisoned by the Japanese and treated cruelly. A guard gave DeShazer a Bible and he read Romans 10: 9. Following its instructions, DeShazer believed in Jesus and was filled with joy. His hate was transformed into love for the Japanese. After the war he returned home to his family, went to a Christian college, married Florence and then returned to Japan as a missionary to share Christ's love and forgiveness with Japanese. He preached all over Japan and published his testimony in Japanese. DeShazer's testimony was read by Mitsuo Fuchida, who was the Japanese pilot who hated Americans and led the raid on Pearl Harbor that brought the USA into WW2. Fuchida got a Bible and read Christ's amazing prayer of forgiveness for those who put him on the cross (Luke 23:34). He became a Christian. His testimony books are listed along with DeShazer's. DeShazer and Fuchida met as brothers in Christ and prayed together. Jake and Florence helped start 23 churches in Japan over 30 years. This is a life transformed through encountering the Bible and trusting Jesus Christ. Won't you seek to know Jesus Christ too and be transformed? Information on the book of his story, Return of the Raider, is on the back page for readers who want to know more plus space to stamp church info. Booklet size: 14.8cm X 25cm, 8 pages. Package of 10.
