When the members of LYRE were watching the results of the March 11, 2011, Great Northern Japan Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear Disaster and praying daily for the victims, they realized they could not do a big thing to help, but they could sing. Their love for people suffering terribly gave birth to these songs of hope expressing faith that God is with us in suffering and providing comfort and strength. Jesus who suffered on the cross and rose again is together with us giving eternal life to all who believe. We reach Heaven through prayer. The God who knows the stars knows our thoughts and hears our cries.
